 Lochmara Lodge has its very own fully licensed café and restaurant, The cuisine is based on sustainability. Where possible our meat and seafood are wild, organic or local. The fresh produce is sourced locally and seasonally. We also grow salad, herbs and some vegetables and fruit on site at Lochmara Lodge, in our organic garden and orchard. The cuisine is simple, rustic and full of flavour, using ingredients that we believe will give you a taste of this beautiful environment, the Marlborough Sounds.
On our drinks menu, we showcase some Marlborough wines and New Zealand craft beers, giving the visitor a real taste of New Zealand. Organic juices, fair trade coffee and tea are also available.
There are no cooking facilities available at Lochmara Lodge, so all in-house guests are fully catered for at our licensed café and restaurant.
Open daily for breakfast 8am – 10m, Lunch from 12noon – 3pm, Dinner from 6 – late. Muffins, cakes, and bar snacks available from 10am – 6pm.
Drink our Wine for a Good Cause!
Guests can now enjoy a classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, knowing that every sip is helping a worthy cause. The newest addition to the Lochmara Cafe winelist is the new Lochmara label, produced in conjunction with Yealands Estate. Proceeds from sales of the wine go towards the Marlborough Sounds Wildlife Recovery Trust.

Open daily for breakfast 8am - 10am, lunch from noon - 3pm, and dinner from 6pm - late. Muffins, cakes and bar snacks available from 10am - 6pm. Bookings for dinner required (but not lunch or breakfast unless large groups). Set menu applies for 15+ people and bookings are required for large groups.
